Douglas O'Loughlin


Douglas O'Loughlinis a principal trainer of MDi Pakistan. He is an international management consultant and a highly effective workshop facilitator. He is one of the most trusted consultants on Organization Development. Originally from the U.S. and now resident in Singapore, Douglas has led programs in 20 countries around the world, serving/supporting a wide variety of clients and partners.
Douglas conducts workshops and lecture programs in the areas of Change Management, Coaching, Leadership, Organizational Development and Learning, Team Development, Training and Facilitation. He facilitates artfully and with tremendous passion.

Some of the organizations Douglas has recently worked with include GlaxoSmithKline, Microsoft, 3M, Nokia, HP, Merck, Michelin, Wal-Mart, Bank Negara, Economic Development Board Singapore, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Mizuho Corporate Bank, MOM (Ministry of Manpower), Singapore Technologies, Temasek Polytechnic, United Overseas Bank Singapore, and others.

In addition to facilitating many corporate events, Douglas has lectured at the Singapore Institute of Management for 10 years. He has conducted the OD/Learning Organization and Facilitation modules in DHRD, and taught Organization Theory and Organization Behavior courses for Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). Douglas has also spoken at Global and Regional Conferences on the topics of Learning Organizations, Organizational Development, and Personal Development.

Before starting his own training and consultancy, Douglas managed a team of Organizational Development Consultants at AT&T-Consumer Products (1979-1993). His team conducted highly innovative and transformational culture-change sessions throughout North America and Asia. The focus of that work was organizational, team, and personal development.

Douglas is keenly involved in a number of organizations and his “learning family” extends all over the world. In Singapore, Douglas is the co-founder and President of the Organization Development Group at Singapore Institute of Management and is involved with the Learning Organization Practitioners Network (LOPN) and Facilitator's Network of Singapore (FNS).

Globally, Douglas actively supports the Future Search Network, the Open Space Network, World Café Community, and the OD Institute. With the Future Search Network he has helped to organize and facilitate the last two Global Learning Exchanges, held in Sweden and Northern Ireland. He is also an adjunct facilitator for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), Personnel Decisions International (PDI), and Ideation.
